3M PELTOR™ have created a purposed built backplate to expand the compatibility with our helmet and visor range. The new Z3GS backplate fits the 25mm slot for a firm fit with the 3M helmet and holds the 3M visor holder in place, completing the combination. The new 3M™ PELTOR™ Optime™ Earmuff range that incorporates this backplate has been developed for protection against industrial noise and are comfortable during long periods of use. These earmuffs are available in headband, neckband, foldable or helmet mounted versions. Examples of typical applications include:  Agriculture, Automotive Chemical & pharmaceutical manufacture, Construction, Light engineering, Metal processing, Woodworking etc.
